Dukes Climb One Spot, Move to #3 in Latest NJCAA Poll

Arguably the hottest team in all of NJCAA DIII Baseball, the Dukes moved to #3 in the latest NJCAA DIII Baseball Poll. Last week, the Dukes rang in at #4 in the 2017 season's first regular season national poll.  Cumberland jumped conference foe Rowan College at Gloucester County after a 4-0 week and a Roadrunner loss at Mercer County CC.   This week Cumberland ranks behind #1 Tyler Junior College and #2 Brookdale Community College.

The Dukes will square off in a three-game set with RCGC at the end of this month and another series with Brookdale CC on the first weekend of May.  That two week span could very well decide the regular season conference title and will certainly impact seeding for the Region 19 Tournament.  Cumberland will look to extend their 19-game win streak Wednesday afternoon with a non-conference game at Philadelphia University's JV program.
