After a sluggish start to the game, the Dukes relied on their full-court pressure to get them going. Cumberland trailed 14-6 early, but quickly rallied and took a 48-37 lead into the half. Out of the break, the Dukes used more pressure to keep the distance between the two teams. Every player scored on the night, and Cumberland posted seven players in double-figures. Freshman Seth Hacket led the way with 23 points and Markevis Johnson added 21. Tyheem Albright (13), Khaliq Ford (12), Nicholas Rodriguez (12), Terron Mitchell (11), and Michael Fofana (10) rounded out the Dukes to reach double-digits in scoring. With the win, the Dukes improve to 10-8 overall. After two out of conference wins, Cumberland is in for a tough test when Union County College comes to town this weekend.
