Second Half Surge Propels Dukes Past Bulldogs

The Men's Basketball Program made it two consecutive wins at home with an 80-75 victory over Bergen Community College.  Trailing 35-21 going into the break, the Dukes outscored the visiting Bulldogs 59-40 in the second half.  The box score recorded five Dukes reaching double figures in scoring. 

Freshmen Marquis Wilson and Che'Quan Hargrose led the way in scoring with 18 points and 17 points respectively.  The duo combined for 33 of their 35 points during Cumberland's second half surge.  Haashim Wallace and sophomore guard Kyle Phile chipped in 13 points apiece and Eddie Jacobs scored 11 points off of the bench on 4 of 6 shooting from the floor. 

The Dukes have put together back-to-back conference wins at home, improving to 2-2 in the Garden State Athletic Conference.  Up next, the Dukes will travel to Eastern University on Tuesday night.
