Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Goldey Beacom Classic

Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at  Goldey Beacom Classic

The Men's Cross Country Team turned in a fourth place finish this weekend at the Goldey Beacom Classic, finishing first among all NJCAA schools.  Cumberland competed in a field of eight teams, edging out fellow junior college teams of Harford CC and Delaware Technical and CC, as well as a couple of four year universities.

Leading the charge for the Dukes was sophomore Matt Crow, placing 12th among all 44 runners with a time of 32:13.21, and Ankit Sharma- 17th with a time of 33:16.21.  Fellow runners Brandon Reyna and Jorge Caraballo placed 24th and 25th respectively, placing four Dukes runners in the top 25.  Cumberland will be back on the trails next weekend October 3rd at the Luzerne Invitational in Nanticoke, PA.
