Women's Basketball Upends Middlesex, Continues Playoff Push
The Lady Dukes took down conference power Middlesex County College on the road by a 72-66 score, continuing their push toward qualifying for the Region 19 Tournament. Freshman SyDonnie Dawkins led the Dukes with 29 points and 6 rebounds.  Dawkins hit 12 of 25 from the floor, adding five points from the charity stripe.  Lynn Brown added 15 points 4 rebounds, and 4 assists on the afternoon and Destiny Esquilin chipped in for 14 points.  Sophomore Sara Mazzeo rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12 points on 4 of 9 shooting from downtown.

The road win came at a time when the Dukes needed a win.  Cumberland has won five of their last six and is now eyeing in on the Region 19 Tournament.  The Dukes will need to win two out of their last three games to qualify for the postseason tournament.  Cumberland will host Montgomery County Community College on February 9th, travel to Brookdale on February 11th and will host Camden County College in their season finale.
