The Cumberland County Dukes Women's Basketball team were defeated by Sussex County College Community College, 78-57.
While the Lady Dukes were overwhelmed by the Lady Skylanders offensive attack, Destiny Esquilin did not let CCC go down without a fight.
Esquilin scored 27 points, with 21 of them coming in the second half.
Other standouts for the Lady Dukes included SyDonnie Dawkins who scored 17 point and grabbed 7 rebounds, and Robersys Martinez who pulled down 10 rebounds of her own.
The next game for the CCC is on Tuesday, December 7th, at 7 p.m. at home, against Ocean County College.
