Dukes Women's Soccer Announces 2014 Recruiting Class

The Cumberland County College Women's Soccer Program welcomed in high school seniors and a few junior college transfers, as they signed their national letters of intent for the 2014 soccer season. Head Women's Soccer Coach Don Palmucci spoke about the commitment of these incoming players to create and build a successful program.

The Dukes finished just 2-14 in Palmucci's first season at the helm, but with his first full recruiting season, the expectations are high. Palmucci expects to compete with Region XIX perrenials Gloucester County College and Brookdale Community College, last year's National Champion.

Here is a list of the following additions that will be attending Cumberland and playing soccer next fall:

Stephanie Alverez Vineland
Danielle Coblentz Salem HS
Rhesa Anderson Delsea
Danni Cowgill Clayton
Julianna Marchese Bridgeton
Ashton Dawkins Cumberland Regional
Nicole Gaboda Buena
Kelsie Platt Clayton
Brianna Harper Buena
Melissa Adams  Buena

In addition, Cumberland also adds three transfers from Salem Community College: Alexus Ekimoglou, Brianna Slaughter, and Kewanee Chapman. These 13 newcomers will accompany four returners from last year. Two of those returners earned All-Region XIX Honors for their play during the 2013 season.  The Cumberland County College Women's Soccer Program is poised for a big turnaround in 2014.
