Miro, Beck Sweep Conference Players of the Week
The Dukes of Cumberland County College sweep this week's GSAC Player of the Week Honors for the sport of soccer. Sophomore forward Jasmine Miro and freshman midfielder Freddie Beck were named for the weekly awards.

In one game this week, Miro scored a school-record six goals in a 7-3 victory over visiting Bucks County Community College.  Miro, a First-Team All-Region 19 selection, finished this season with 23 total goals, good for seventh best in the nation.  Her season total of 23 and her career total of 32 goals, etch her name into the Cumberland County College record books in the sport of Women's Soccer.

On the men's side, Freddie Beck's play on the field helped the Dukes secure their first postseason win in three seasons with a 3-1 victory over Harrisburg Area Community College this past Saturday.  In the match, Beck accounted for all three goals, assisting on two AJ Gazzara goals and scoring one on his own, which proved to be the eventual game winner.  Beck and company will take on #1 seeded Camden County College in a semi-final match-up in the Region 19 Men's Soccer Tournament.
