Marco and Chris were members of the record breaking 2017 Dukes Baseball Team.  This team had the best record in the country finishing #1 in the final NJCAA poll, they had a 33 game winning streak which was the longest of any collegiate baseball team  in the country last season. They also won an all time New Jersey college record 55 games at any collegiate level.
Chris Salvey played a stellar 1B for the Dukes recording the highest fielding percentage among firstbasemen in Region 19.  He had a nice year at the plate as well leading the entire country in homeruns with 18.
Marco Rios may end up being one of the best defensive infielders to ever stand on the Cumberland County College baseball diamond.  Last season Marco committed only 6 errors in 251 total chances through 63 games.  His two year total of 454 chances to only 14 errors equates to a fielding percentage of .970! Marco was also a tremendous leadoff hitter for a dukes team that ranked in the top 5 in every offensive category.
Both of Marco and Chris accepted baseball scholarships to NCAA Divison II Lincoln Memorial University.
