Dukes participate in Thanksgiving Adopt-a-Family

VINELAND - Cumberland Athletics joined forces once again with the Student Services department for their annual Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family initiative, now its in 24th year.  Donations came in from the Women's Basketball, Golf, and Baseball teams this season along with items donated from the Athletic Department.  Softball's Mimi Acevedo and Cayla Sbrana assisted in the "auditing" of the donation bins to ensure the 30 families from the Cumberland County area received a full Thanksgiving meal that consisted of various items such as mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, desserts, and much more.  On delivery day, Thanksgiving Eve, Baseball's Seth Suppi provided the muscle by assisting in placing the large donation bins into the delivery trucks.
