Nationals Recap: Humphreys holding strong after 2 rounds

JAMESTOWN - After two beautiful rounds at the stellar Chautauqua Golf Club Lake Course, the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes Golf Team finds themselves in familiar territory.

On the Men's side, Chase Adomaitis and Chris Barone are in the middle of the loaded field after two days.  Adomaitis is currently +22 and Barone is +27 with the 18th place being +10.  The top 18 golfers earn all-American status, the latest Duke being Mateo Medina who earned All-American honors in 2024 after he placed 16th.

Brigid Humphreys and Lila Camp have been performing well on the women's side.  Despite a tough first round, Camp came right back with an improved second round to jump her three spots in the standings. Humphreys is currently in All-American contention as she is in 18th place with intentions to climb.  A few mishits placed Humphreys in her current position and she is primed to make her move in the final rounds.
