Cross Country opens season strong at West Chester

WEST CHESTER - RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes Cross Country competed in their first meet of the season at the WCU Season Opener hosted by West Chester University.

On the Men's side, Vincent Bosco led the way with a time of 21:14 while Matt Tozer was not far behind with a finish of 21:48.  Tozer earned All-Region honors last season and looks to build on that finish this season.

Marcela Perez led the Dukes Women's team as she finished 33 overall with a time of 27:41.  Maricruz Cardosa (30:07) and Monica Bishop (34:14) turned in respectable times competing in their first collegiate meet and will compete at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University on September 20.
