Raritan Valley defeats Dukes over the weekend

VINELAND- Over this past weekend, the Cumberland Dukes men's soccer hosted Region XIX foe, the Raritan Valley Community College Lions. The Lions came into the match with a 0-0-1 record. Raritan Valley would open the scoring early in the match with a goal in the 8th minute. The Lions would add another right before the half with a goal in the 31st minute to make it 2-0.RCSJ-Cumberland's, Ty Powell would score in the 89th minute to end the shutout, but the Dukes would fall by a final score of 3-1.

Cumberland will play their first road match of the season tomorrow at Atlantic Cape Community College. Kick-off is slated for 3:30PM vs the Buccaneers. For all updates on Dukes Athletics, follow us on all social media platforms (GORCDukes).
