CLARK - The Dukes valiantly fought once again in a tough matchup against perennial contender, the Union College Owls on Thursday evening. After giving up an early goal, the Dukes dominated play early in the second half and broke through on a goal by Donato Diaz assisted by Allan Lopez. It is Diaz's second goal in as many goals as he continues to show his talents at the top of the Dukes attack. After controlling play, Union slipped through the Dukes defense in the back end of the 2nd half en route to a 3-1 victory.
Dukes return to play on Tuesday, September 2 for their home opener against visiting Middlesex College.
